A filmposter I made for an assignment in graduation year at the Rietveld. Stuart Bailey, not to be confused with the fictional private investigator, discussed in greater detail at, asked us to make a filmposter choosing of a few films he showed us. I chose to make a poster for ‘One plus One’ by Godard, a film about the recording of the song: ‘Sympathy for the devil’ by the Stones.
The endless rehearsal of the song in the film came back in the work like a typographical mantra. I printed on scrolls of paper used to undercoat wallpaper. For me the hardest silkscreenprint I did so far.
