Museum de Paviljoens is a museum in the city center of Almere. One of my first jobs after graduation was making advertisements for this institute. I maintained the visual identity created by Will Holder for a few years until they slowly merged it into something else. In the mean time I made them some cards and brochures and since 2007 I have designed their annual reports.

I had the idea that inspectors of reports hardly ever really read large amounts of text. So together with the editorial I wanted to high-light important sentences we thought the reader should check. Secondly the titles and subchapters are moved to the left collumn for quick finding. And finally, to make thing more personal by integrating the experiences and opinions of visitors and partners, we added several quotes usually at the beginning of a chapter.
The reports are bound and presented as a common magazine: folded and stapled. The images are presented as the reports were art catalogues.
