The Dutch Eredivisie asked us to design the league ball for the season 2021-2022. It is the 65th anniversary of the highest Dutch football league so a great honor to contribute and translate our vision of it through design. Derbystar is the league ball supplier, the brand is well known to make one of the best footballs worldwide.

Over the years 54 have been part of it, some past away, some fused into new clubs. We used the 16 hexagons as 'cubes' with 3 squares to add club identities on them. Six extra clubs are hidden and combined with their successors.
We made a ball in color for retail and one in black and white for the professional games.

To promote the ball as well as celebrating the anniversary of the Eredivisie we produced a three minute film together with Hans Peter Schepp. We scripted a text especially for the voice over of Frank Heinen.
