Radio Pedis is a podcast and community for people with roots in Indonesia, where shared experiences and cultural connection are central. Through open conversations, we aim to hear each other's stories. With lighthearted tales and spicy (educational) topics, we create a space for recognition and acknowledgment.

In the Radio Pedis podcast, Neal Petersen and Malou Holshuijsen give a personal and relatable voice to a young generation of Dutch people with roots in the former Dutch East Indies and Indonesia. Every week, they invite an inspiring guest who fearlessly steps out of the shadows to share their personal journey of exploring their roots and identity. With the necessary sharpness, clear differences, but also unexpected similarities, no topic is left untouched. The podcast is produced by De Stroom and broadcast on omroep ZWART.

The recognizable Indonesian elements can be found in the design of Radio Pedis. We've created many different styles. The idea came from the many spices and flavors found in Indonesian cuisine.
